SIDELIFE

Privacy Policy

Effective September 16, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Kaos Enterprise Inc. ("Kaos Enterprise," "SideLife," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when you use SideLife, including our websites, applications, communities, messaging features, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

We may collect information you provide directly to us, including your name, username, email address, password or authentication credentials, profile information, profile photographs, interests, account preferences, and information submitted when contacting SideLife.

User Content and Community Activity

We may process content and information you create or provide through the Services, including posts, photographs, comments, reactions, community participation, polls, live-chat activity, messages, reports, and other interactions.

Content you choose to post publicly or within a community may be visible to other users according to the audience and privacy settings available for that feature. You should not post information you do not want others to see.

Technical and Usage Information

When you access SideLife, we and service providers supporting the Services may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, timestamps, application activity, diagnostic information, security events, and similar usage information.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

SideLife and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, session technologies, or similar technologies that are necessary to authenticate users, maintain sessions, remember preferences, protect the Services, diagnose problems, and understand how the Services are used.

Location Information

SideLife may infer general location from information such as an IP address. If a future feature requests precise device location, SideLife will request the permissions required by the applicable device or platform before accessing that information.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve SideLife;
  • create and administer accounts and profiles;
  • provide communities, posts, messaging, chat, and social features;
  • personalize features and help users discover relevant communities or interests;
  • authenticate users and maintain account security;
  • detect spam, fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other harmful activity;
  • enforce our Terms of Use and community rules;
  • investigate reports and moderate content or accounts;
  • communicate about accounts, security, updates, or support;
  • diagnose technical problems and analyze Service performance;
  • comply with applicable law and valid legal obligations; and
  • protect SideLife, our users, and others.

4. How We Disclose Information

We do not disclose personal information except as described in this Policy or as otherwise disclosed to you.

Other Users

Profile information, posts, comments, community participation, and other content may be visible to other users depending on the feature and applicable privacy or audience settings.

Service Providers

We may provide information to vendors and service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, infrastructure, database, authentication, email, security, analytics, error monitoring, and technical support. These providers may process information only as permitted by their agreements with us and applicable law.

Legal, Safety, and Security Reasons

We may preserve, access, or disclose information when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; enforce our agreements; investigate fraud or abuse; protect the security or integrity of the Services; or protect the rights, property, or safety of SideLife, our users, or others.

Business Transfers

Information may be disclosed or transferred as part of an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.

5. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

SideLife does not currently sell personal information for money. SideLife also does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any notices, choices, or opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law.

6. Private Messages and Communications

Messages intended for another user or for SideLife administrators are not treated as public posts. However, unless SideLife expressly states otherwise for a particular feature, you should not assume that communications are end-to-end encrypted or inaccessible to SideLife's systems.

We may process or preserve communications as reasonably necessary to deliver the feature, maintain security, investigate reports, prevent abuse, comply with law, or enforce our Terms.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business records, protect the Services, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information, why it was collected, account status, security requirements, and applicable law. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or may be retained when required or permitted by law.

8. Account Deletion and Your Choices

Where available, you may review or update certain account and profile information through your account settings.

You may request deletion of your SideLife account and associated personal information through the account-deletion functionality provided by SideLife or by contacting us at vinh@kaoscorp.net. Deletion requests are subject to identity verification and exceptions permitted or required by applicable law.

Deleting an account may not remove content that another user has independently reposted, quoted, or incorporated into their own content, or information we are legally permitted or required to retain.

9. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have privacy rights under applicable California law. Depending on the law that applies to SideLife and the particular request, these may include rights to request access to or information about personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of personal information, and information regarding certain disclosures.

If SideLife becomes subject to additional requirements under the California Consumer Privacy Act, we will provide the disclosures and mechanisms required for applicable rights, including rights relating to sale, sharing, sensitive personal information, and non-discrimination.

To submit a privacy request, contact vinh@kaoscorp.net. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. California Do Not Track Disclosure

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no single universally accepted standard for interpreting legacy Do Not Track signals, SideLife does not currently respond to those signals as a separate privacy-control mechanism.

Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, SideLife will honor such signals to the extent required by law.

11. Third-Party Collection

Service providers used to operate SideLife may collect or receive technical or personal information when providing services to us. Third-party websites or services reached through links on SideLife operate under their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for those practices.

12. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. However, no website, application, network, database, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You use the Services and transmit information at your own risk.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and should notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

13. Children's Privacy

SideLife is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without legally sufficient authorization, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SideLife evolves or as legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by applicable law and update the effective date shown above.
